I started my Real Estate career as one of a group of three teachers who bought, renovated and sold rental properties in Toronto while we were teaching at Ontario’s largest Community College, Seneca College. After dissolution of the partnership in 1982 I became a licensed Business Consultant/Realtor with VR Business Brokers in Toronto. I decided to leave my 20 year teaching career at Seneca College, and move out West. First to Vancouver and then to Victoria. Since joining DFH Real Estate Ltd. as a Realtor in 1999 I have been a trusted Real Estate advisor to a long list of clients, many of whom have been repeat buyers and sellers. I also became qualified as a Commercial Realtor with the Victoria Real Estate Board and that is part of my current practice. On the residential side, I have helped many more clients, buy and sell, single family homes, condos and town homes, rental properties, luxury homes, and country and equestrian estates. My areas of expertise have been in Victoria and Oak Bay, the greater Victoria area and up to Shawnigan Lake for recreational property. As a teacher it was my job to listen to and educate my students and prepare them for real world applications. As a Realtor my job is very similar.
